Gartner Names Talari as a provider of SD-WAN capability
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Aug. 3, 2015 — Talari Networks, Inc., a leading provider of Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutions that help businesses perform brilliantly with the creation of a smart network that proactively manages capacity, quality and performance, announced today that analyst firm Gartner®, Inc. has released a July 2015 report titled “Technology Overview for SD-WAN,” and named Talari as a provider of SD-WAN capabilities.
According to the report “SD-WAN is an emerging technology that offers several benefits compared with tradition, router-based WANs. Network decision makers can achieve cost savings, increase agility and simplification with an SD-WAN. This research defines SD-WAN and highlights its benefits, risks and alternative.”
“SD-WAN is a new and transformational way to architect, deploy and operate corporate WANs, as it provides a dramatically simplified way of deploying and managing remote branch office connectivity in a cost-effective manner,” writes Andrew Lerner and Neil Rickard at Gartner in the July 2015 Technology Overview for SD-WAN.
